Hi guys,

Looking at your API and its definitely something we think about using. Our entire website is in https though so we can’t use the http requests but would need a secure version over https. Is this something you guys support?

Cheers,
Koen

Hi Koen,

We now support https across our range of API. You can find the details in the ‘Getting Started’ section of the API documentation.

If you have any issues please don’t hesitate getting back to us – we’re here to help.

Any feedback on using our API would be most appreciated.

Cheers,

John.

Hi guys,

Just gave it a test but getting the “No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.” I think the HTTPS version doesn’t have Access-Control-Allow-Origin enabled? Could you take a look? Thanks.

Hi Koen,

We have the ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ on the response header,

We’ve tested locally and using this tool http://client.cors-api.appspot.com/client , and everything looks ok,

Could you share your code so we can take a look?

Make sure that your request contains the correct app_id and app_key.

Cheers.

Hi guys,

This is the jQuery AJAX request I’m making. I removed the app key and made the long/lat hard coded.. normally this is dynamically loaded.

jQuery.ajax({ type : ‘POST’, dataType : ‘json’, url : ’https://api.weatherunlocked.com/api/current/-33.867487,151.20699?app_id=[appdi]&app_key=[appkey], async : true, success : function(data) { console.log(‘test’); console.log(data); } });

EDIT:
So I gave it some more testing and used GET instead of POST and it works. Sorry for bothering you.
